Cybersecurity Engineer Date: 12 May 2026 Location: Jaipur, RJ, IN, 302028 Company: Hero Motocorp Function Research & Development - Jaipur Pay Band E4 to M2 Role Cybersecurity Engineer A purpose driven role for you 1) Seeking a highly skilled Automotive Engineer with sound experience in the automotive domain. 2) The candidate will be working in the Vehicle Security and E/E Architecture department of HERO CIT R&D. The person in charge will be expected to own the end-to-end security lifecycle of our next-generation connected vehicle platforms. The insights and architectures developed by him/her will serve as the core defence against evolving physical and remote attack vectors. The candidate will be responsible for translating complex regulatory mandates (like WP.29 and ISO/SAE 21434) into actionable hardware and software requirements, deploying embedded security controls, and acting as the primary custodian of vehicle security validation and penetration testing. A Day in the life 1) Cybersecurity requirements & Compliance 2) Supplier Interaction and part implementation. 3) Testing & Validation Academic Qualification & Experience BTech/MTech in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Automotive Engineering, or Embedded Systems. Advanced Qualifications are an advantage. Technical Skills/Knowledge 1) Sound Experience in automotive diagnostics and vehicle networking 2) Exposure to automotive cybersecurity, embedded systems security, or E/E architecture development 3) Relevant industry certifications (e.g., TUV SUD Automotive Cybersecurity Professional) are preferred. 4) Knowledge on Automotive Communication Networks CAN, CANFD, LIN 5) Hands-on experience with Vector CANoe/CANalyzer and Diagnostic Tool Set (DTS). 6) Strong understanding of UDS (ISO 14229), OBD-II (ISO 15031/SAE J1979), and DoIP (ISO 13400).
