About the Role At Uber, engineers solve bold, complex problems as we continue to innovate and build products used globally. We are looking for engineers who are strong in data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving, with proficiency in at least one programming language of their choice. Strong communication is also essential, as Uber engineers work in fast-paced teams and collaborate closely to build, maintain, and improve services, platforms, infrastructure tools, and user-facing products. As part of Uber, you will contribute to building scalable products, tools, and systems that help developers deliver exceptional experiences to customers around the world. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent experience through an engineering-related bootcamp. Must have graduated or completed an engineering-related bootcamp in 2025 or 2026. Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Go, C, C++, Python, Ruby, or similar. Must be willing to start the role in 2026, if selected. Preferred Qualifications Strong problem-solving skills with a good understanding of algorithms, data structures, and complexity analysis. Ability to work in a team environment and deliver meaningful impact. Interest in building distributed systems at large scale. Strong sense of ownership, drive, and willingness to collaborate. Commitment to writing clean, maintainable, understandable, and reusable software.
