About The Job : We are seeking a seasoned Mendix Lead Developer/Architect who will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing enterprise-level applications using the Mendix platform You will be responsible for leading a team of developers, ensuring best practices, and delivering scalable and efficient solutions to meet business requirements. Essential Job Functions : - Application Design & Development : Lead the design and development of robust, scalable Mendix applications. - Technical Leadership : Mentor and guide a team of Mendix developers, conducting code reviews and ensuring adherence to coding standards. - Solution Architecture : Architect end-to-end solutions using Mendix, ensuring they meet enterprise-level scalability, security, and performance standards. - Collaboration : Work closely with business analysts, UX designers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions. - Integration : Implement and manage integrations with third-party systems and APIs. - Quality Assurance : Conduct thorough testing (unit, integration, system) to ensure the quality and reliability of developed applications. - Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation. - Innovation & Best Practices : Stay updated with the latest Mendix features and industry trends, continuously improving processes and solutions. Qualifications : Required Skills & Experience : Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience : - 7+ years of experience in software development. - Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with the Mendix platform. Certification : Mendix Advanced or Expert certification is preferred. Technical Proficiency : - Strong knowledge of Mendix development and architecture. - Experience with Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and RESTful APIs. - Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.). Soft Skills : - Excellent problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and leadership abilities. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Preferred Skills : - Experience in Agile methodologies. - Knowledge of other low-code platforms (like OutSystems, Appian) is a plus. - Experience with database systems (SQL, NoSQL).
