Job Description Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automation solutions for cloud operations across Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS). This role is critical for driving operational efficiency, compliance, and reliability through automation, including hygiene bots, remediation workflows, self-healing systems, and Service Request (SR) automation. The ideal candidate will have strong scripting skills, experience with automation frameworks, and a passion for building scalable solutions. Responsibilities Automation Development Design and implement automation for cloud operations in Azure and AWS environments. Build hygiene bots to identify and remediate non-compliant resources. Develop remediation and self-healing workflows triggered by alerts and events. Create Service Request (SR) automation integrated with ServiceNow. Scripting & Tools Write automation scripts using Python and PowerShell. Utilize Ansible for configuration management and orchestration. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions. Maintenance & Optimization Maintain existing automation codebase and resolve defects. Implement best practices for cost optimization and operational efficiency Required Skills Programming: Python, PowerShell Cloud Platforms: Azure, AWS Automation Tools: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Ansible Qualifications Preferred Skills Terraform GCP Azure KQL / AWS APIs Cost Optimization / FinOps Automation ServiceNow Integration Experience Minimum 4+ years in cloud automation or DevOps roles.
