About The Job: To provide on-going development and application support within the Business Applications Bulk & PGP area that support the group in achieving the business goals. To modify and adapt standard application design to make it more efficient & flexible that supports existing/modified business processes or procedures Understanding the requirements from Business Processes Specialists/GPOs and prepare Technical Specifications with an alignment with Tech Lead/Architect Act as ‘Application Expert’ in ‘End-to-End’ application flow including infrastructure, Platform & various interfaces Essential Job Functions: As a software developer, you are significantly involved in the design, specification, development and maintenance of our software product in area of Cylinder Supply Chain. Have a focus on the further development of backend system based on Microsoft technology. Work closely with Mobile App development team to implement APIs consumed by Mobile App. Be part of architecture design & application lifecycle management. Migrate existing App to future supported framework/platform. Regularly monitor application for security vulnerabilities and fix. Create and maintain documentation complying GxP criteria. Involve in business support activities and troubleshooting production issues. Stay updated with the latest trends in server side development and be proactive in improving application design. Provide technical assistance and guidance to junior developer. Qualifications: A Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent from a reputed institute Formal training and/or Microsoft Certification like MCSE, MCSD Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate certification or other relevant certification would be an added advantage. Experience Should have overall 6-7 years of relevant IT experience working with reputed companies Strong hands-on experience in web, client server development using Microsoft technology. Experience in working in offshore teams. Exposure to working in a geographically dispersed environment (medium to long term stay in European/American Countries are good to have) Ability to work across multiple time zones Knowledge of business processes, data, applications, and requirements within the liquid/Bulk and/or Packaged Gas & Products (PGP) business is a plus (For Internal Posting ONLY) Must have Have 5+ years’ experience in the development with C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core and MVC architecture with overall 6 - 7 years of experience. Experience in working with any framework for building interactive client-side web UI like React, Angular etc. In-depth knowledge of Web API, RESTful services, Multi-Threading, Microservices and JSON Experience with Microsoft Azure PaaS Services (Azure Web Apps, Storage Account, Service Bus, Azure Functions) Experience with HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery. Understanding of SQL Server database and Entity Framework. Ability to write clean, efficient, and reusable code. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. Experience with source control systems like Git etc. Experience with API Management tools (POSTMAN, SOAPUI) Familiarity with agile development methodologies like Scrum or Kanban. Good to have Knowledge on Blazor is a plus Experience with implementing Azure B2C, Entra ID Authentication is a plus. Having knowledge on Azure DevOps (CI/CD), App Insights, log analytics, Azure App service (LINUX) is good Knowledge on Linux systems (commands etc.) a plus. Experience with Event Driven Architecture a plus. Experience with SonarQube a plus.
