Position Overview We are looking for aSenior Backend Engineerwith strong experience indistributed systems and Java-based applicationsto join our team. In this role, you willdesign, build, and operate scalable backend services, contribute toarchitecture decisions, andown services end-to-end in production. Responsibilities: Design and buildhigh-quality, scalable, and resilient backend services usingJava and Spring Boot Lead system design and architecture discussions, making informed trade-offs acrossperformance, scalability, and reliability Own services end-to-end in production, ensuringavailability, latency, and SLA adherence Drive best practices fordistributed systems design,fault tolerance, andobservability Writeclean, maintainable, and well-tested code, and set a high bar for engineering quality Conductcode reviewsandmentor engineers, improving overall team capability Troubleshoot complex production issues, leadroot cause analysis, and implement durable fixes Collaborate cross-functionally withproduct, UX, and platform teamsto deliver solutions end-to-end Partner with DevOps to enhanceCI/CD pipelinesand optimizeKubernetes-based deployments Contribute toarchitecture governance, documenting designs, trade-offs, and operational runbooks Influencetechnical directionby evaluating tools, technologies, and system improvements Contribute to building next-generation platform capabilitiesleveragingagent-based and AI-driven orchestration systems AboutYou: Bachelor’s degreein Computer Science or equivalentpractical experience 5+ yearsof professional software development experience Strong proficiency in Javaand deep experience withSpring Boot Proven experience buildingmicroservicesandRESTful APIs Strong understanding ofdistributed systems principles: scalability, reliability, consistency, and fault tolerance Hands-on experience withmessaging systems(e.g.,Kafka, RabbitMQ) Experience withcloud-native environments(Docker, Kubernetes) Strong database fundamentals acrossrelational (MySQL/Postgres)andNoSQL (MongoDB/Redis)systems Experience withmodern engineering practices: Git,CI/CD,automated testing, andobservability tools Strongproblem-solving skillsand ability todrive solutions in ambiguous environments Demonstrated ability tomentor engineersand influencetechnical decisions Proven track record of deliveringreliable, scalable systems in production Nice to have Experience withevent-driven architecturesorstreaming systems Exposure tohigh-scale, low-latency systems Familiarity withinfrastructure-as-code tools(e.g., Terraform) Experience withperformance tuning and system optimization Familiarity withAI-assisted developer tools(e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) Familiarity withagentic platforms and AI-driven application architectures, including concepts like orchestration of autonomous agents, tool usage, and workflow-based systems
