The Role: By joining Nestlé Nespresso Digital and Tech Team, you will be working on the mobile technology powering the Nespresso business. You will work in a direct-to-customer context with significant volumes and traffic and a very rich feature offering, being part of large development organization with direct impact to online business. As a Senior Mobile Platform Engineer, (iOS) you will be part of the team responsible for designing, building, and evolving the foundational framework that powers Nespresso’s mobile applications. This role sits at the core of our mobile ecosystem, supporting both eCommerce and IoT contexts across the Apple platform landscape (iOS, iPadOS, and aligned devices). You will contribute to shared modules, promote architecture best practices, and ensure consistency, security and scalability across apps built by multiple agile squads. You’ll work closely with technical leads, architects, and product teams to craft performance, modular, and secure SDK that accelerates the delivery of high-quality iOS experiences for millions of Nespresso customers. In This Role, You Will: Own the design, evolution, and stability of shared iOS frameworks and SDKs Define and enforce API contracts, architectural standards, and platform guidelines Develop and maintain shared modules using Swift, SwiftUI, and Combine Design scalable modular architectures, including API design and dependency management (SPM) Drive adoption of shared frameworks across teams without direct authority Own versioning, backward compatibility, and release governance Improve developer experience through tooling, documentation, and automation Support multiple teams with reusable components and platform guidance Ensure high quality through testing, code reviews, and CI/CD practices What We’re Looking For: Bachelor's degree in computer science, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience and effective communication in English.  5+ years of native iOS development experience with Swift and modern iOS stack Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining iOS frameworks or SDKs used by multiple teams in production Strong experience with modular architecture, API design, and dependency management (Swift Package Manager) Deep understanding of scalable iOS systems and architectural trade-offs Experience supporting multiple teams and driving alignment across a platform Experience with versioning strategies, backward compatibility, and release governance Ability to clearly explain architectural decisions and trade-offs Experience with modern CI/CD pipelines Extra Skills That Set You Apart: Experience working in international, cross-functional teams with Agile methodologies. Comfortable working in Agile squads with CI/CD processes and shared Git repositories. Passion for creating frameworks, improving developer experience, and enforcing consistency across apps.
