Job Description
Summary. The Specialist, Learning Operations supports the delivery, performance and administration of learning services delivered through a global managed service provider (MSP). The role is responsible for coordinating day-to-day operational activities, ensuring accurate financial management, and supporting governance processes to enable efficient, high-quality and cost-effective learning delivery. Working closely with the Manager, Learning Operations, the role acts as a key operational liaison between internal stakeholders and the MSP, ensuring that processes run smoothly, financial controls are maintained, and service delivery meets agreed standards. What you will be doing: Learning MSP Performance & Governance Support the day-to-day operational management of the global learning MSP against agreed contracts, SLAs, KPIs and service delivery standards Assist in preparing inputs for governance forums, including QBRs, performance reviews and reporting packs Track and monitor operational performance metrics, highlighting risks, issues and trends to the Manager Support issue resolution by coordinating actions between stakeholders and the MSP Ensure adherence to defined global processes and support consistent execution across regions Project manage various global learning projects and work with stakeholders and teams across the organization. Support learning measurement and reporting (LMR) activities, including data collection, validation, analysis, and reporting of learning metrics across required forums 2. Stakeholder Management Act as a key operational contact for internal stakeholders, supporting queries related to learning operations and service delivery Coordinate requests and demand from stakeholders, ensuring accurate capture and handover to the MSP Support communication between stakeholders and the MSP to ensure clarity on requirements and timelines Track stakeholder queries, issues and feedback, ensuring timely resolution and escalation where needed. Maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and support a positive service experience. 3. Financial and Contract Management Provide day-to-day financial and administrative support for learning operations activities Raise and manage purchase orders (POs) in line with organizational processes and approved budgets Track and reconcile invoices from suppliers, ensuring accuracy against contracted rates and agreed services Support cost allocation, recharges and budget tracking across regions and business units Maintain financial records and documentation to support audits and reporting requirements Assist in monitoring spend against budget and flag variances or risks to the Manager Support supplier onboarding activities, including documentation and system setup in collaboration with Procurement Ensure supplier compliance with contractual terms through accurate record-keeping and administration Respond to stakeholder queries related to costs, invoices and financial processes 4. Risk, Compliance and Quality Assurance Ensure all operational activities comply with Rolls-Royce policies and standards, including data privacy, IT and security requirements Maintain accurate and auditable records of financial and operational transactions Support audit and assurance activities by providing required documentation and evidence Identify and escalate operational risks, compliance issues or process gaps to the Manager Support quality assurance activities through checks on data accuracy, reporting and service outputs Position qualifications 7-10 years’ experience of Learning Operations & Service Delivery Knowledge and expertise of leading large scale / global projects operations environment, preferable knowledge of LMS (Workday). Proven experience in learning operations, or service delivery management within a large, complex, global matrixed organization. Demonstrated experience in working with outsourced service providers or MSPs, including performance management and governance. Excellent in translating facts, service updates, reporting matrices and ideas into presentations packs. Experience working in an engineering, technical, or similarly complex operating environment is highly desirable. Excellent stakeholder management experience across multiple regions and cultures. Experience in Service Management and delivery of Service Excellence project management acumen with a structured approach Excellent organization skills - be able to prioritize & manage multiple tasks. Should have exposure / working knowledge with stakeholders across multiple countries.
