Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Analyst with experience in the Life Insurance domain to join our team. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that business requirements are well-understood, documented, and effectively implemented. Key Responsibilities: Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to understand and capture business needs, objectives, and processes. Documentation: Prepare comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and review Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) for accuracy and completeness. Testing Support: Participate in UAT planning, execution, and review, ensuring that delivered functionalities meet business expectations. Production Monitoring: Support post-production validation, track issues, and ensure smooth transition of deliverables to production. Coordination: Work closely with development, testing, and operations teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery of project milestones. Defect Analysis: Coordinate with QA and development teams for defect triage and resolution tracking. Utilize JIRA for requirement tracking and issue management. Perform data analysis and validation using SQL and Excel to support requirement verification and reporting. Required Skills & Competencies: Strong understanding of Life Insurance domain processes (New Business, Policy Servicing, Claims, Renewals, Endorsements, etc.). Hands-on experience with JIRA, SQL, and MS Excel. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication and documentation skills. Proven ability to coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders. Detail-oriented with a structured and process-driven approach. Preferred Skills (Good to Have): Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology. Understanding of Testing Lifecycle and QA processes. Experience with reporting tools or dashboards for business insights. Basic understanding of Insurance regulatory and compliance requirements.
