Experience Required: 6 months+ (Freshers with strong field exposure may also be considered) Probation: 3 months, followed by Performance-based Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) About the Role : We are launching a new on-demand transportation and logistics platform that connects vehicle partners with businesses requiring reliable transportation services. We are looking for energetic and target-driven Business Development & Field Scouts who will work across both sides of the marketplace — Supply & Demand. This is a pure field role involving extensive on-ground work across Pune. Key Responsibilities : a) Vehicle Onboarding – Supply Side • Identify and onboard commercial vehicle owners and drivers through on-ground visits and provided databases. • Explain the platform, earning potential, lower commission structure, and other benefits. • Complete driver and vehicle onboarding end-to-end. • Build a strong network of active vehicle partners. • Follow up with onboarded drivers to ensure regular platform activity and retention. b) Client Onboarding – Demand Side • Identify businesses that regularly require transportation and delivery vehicles. • Approach retailers, distributors, wholesalers, restaurants, e-commerce sellers, and other local businesses. • Pitch the platform’s competitive pricing, better vehicle availability, and reliable service. • Onboard businesses and help them start using the platform successfully. • Build long-term relationships and generate recurring demand. c) Market & Field Intelligence • Identify high-demand and high-supply areas across Pune. • Track competitor pricing, commissions, and market practices. • Share regular field feedback and insights with the business and operations team. • Identify opportunities to improve pricing, availability, and service quality. d) Targets & Reporting • Maintain daily records of vehicle and client leads. • Track calls, meetings, onboardings, and activations. • Achieve assigned weekly and monthly targets. • Submit regular field reports and market insights. What We’re Looking For : • Minimum 6 months of experience in field sales, business development, logistics, or related roles. • Strong communication, persuasion, and relationship-building skills. • Comfortable with extensive field sales and on-ground work. • Ability to communicate confidently with drivers, vehicle owners, and business owners. • Good knowledge of local areas and markets in Pune. • Basic smartphone and app usage skills. • Self-driven, target-oriented, and willing to work in a fast-paced startup environment. • Two-wheeler with valid driving licence is preferred.
