About the Role We are seeking a sharp, analytical, and highly-organized individual to build and lead Uber Black and supply partnerships for Uber in the region, focusing on fleet operators, OEMs, financiers, electric vehicles, and oil and gas marketing companies to foster the ecosystem from a supply operations standpoint. This is a key piece in our strategy to help catalyze Uber's growth in the region. This is a unique opportunity, with a focus on building, managing, and scaling supply for the Uber platform in India and South Asia. The ideal candidate has a very comprehensive skill set. Ability to think long term, manage cross-functional stakeholders, and capture value through deals. The candidate should have strong execution skills and be able to set up on-ground scalable processes and influence partners to set up the right operations. What the Candidate Will Do Lead Uber Black, Uber’s most premium product in India, supply side efforts working with fleets, OEMs, and relevant ecosystem players. Grow and lead, from the ground up, Uber's supply partnership strategy for fleets, OEMs, financiers, electric vehicles, and gas marketing companies across India SA. Own all critical supply partner relationships across India. Cultivate a highly successful and engaged sales team through hands-on coaching and development of sellers across cities & lead a team of KAMs by providing thought-leadership. Closely manage lead flow, pipeline progression, and accurately forecast the supply acquisition from fleets & B2B suppliers. Work with the Business Development team to leverage Uber partnerships with car manufacturers, financiers & oil/gas marketing companies; own these relationships end-to-end and make continuous improvements on defined metrics for the partnerships. Work with Ops and product teams to roll out products and processes that interface with some of Uber's key vehicle partners to unlock efficiencies and unleash new vehicle supply growth opportunities for Uber; combining strategic thinking with crisp execution to deliver unique value-creating products and services. Recruit, coach, and inspire a team that will build lasting and mutually beneficial relationships with fleet partners. What the Candidate Will Need 8+ years of sales, BD, and general management experience. Exposure in the Indian market, including experience working for technology/ telecommunications/ FMCG/transportation-related industries. Experience of working (directly or indirectly) with fleet partners, OEMs & Financiers is highly preferable. Ability to work efficiently and influence others without exerting direct authority, as well as a capacity to coach, develop, and inspire a team. Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively across internal and external organizations. A track record of steadily growing responsibility in sales or customer growth. You are a builder who wants to be empowered to make big bets. Exceptional written and verbal communication and organizational skills. Strong internal & external stakeholder management. Willingness to travel across India when required. Ability to take initiative in a constantly changing work environment.
