Responsibilities • Must possess strong networking, problem solving and protocol skills along with complete understanding of Mainframe communication concepts and be able to support mainframe connectivity design considerations. • Extensive knowledge of IBM zEnterprise server hardware and in-depth working knowledge of TCP, UDP, ICMP communications • Provide technical support for z/OS Communication Server components. • Good Knowledge on VTAM, TCPIP. • Implementation and support of Mainframe security solutions including z/OS IDS, AT-TLS, IPsec VPN • Participate in design, development, and implementation of highly available and secure Mainframe networking solutions, to include Network systems programming and data center capabilities • Provide problem determination and resolution for network connectivity, encryption, and transmission issues. • Work as a team member with other technical staff, and teams to ensure High available, secure connectivity solutions and compatibility between systems Additional Responsibilities: Location of posting is subject to business requirements Preferred Skills: Technology->Mainframe Technologies->Mainframe Technologies- ALL Technology->Infrastructure-Mainframes->Security
