General Summary: The engineer will contribute to the CSE stability team in Debugging Linux Kernel and System level issues on Qualcomm chipsets. Collaborate with multiple cross-functional technology teams and execution teams. Ensure the Stability Quality of the product as per stipulated MTBF metrics to meet product milestones. The position requires: Excellent debug skills, especially in the core kernel software stability domain Excellent knowledge of Linux kernel and device driver’s model. Sound C/C++ programming skills. Solid knowledge of ARM v7 and v8 architecture, exception levels, multi-core ARM/CPUs, etc Expert level knowledge of OS internals. Prior experience with system debug etc is a plus Knowledge of debug tools such as JTAG, ETM is a plus Exposure or prior hands-on Python is a plus. Excellent communication and soft skills Master or bachelor’s degree in ECE, EE or CS. Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
