Job Description
Job Overview We are looking for an AWS Cloud Support Engineer with hands-on experience in managing, monitoring, and troubleshooting cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of AWS services, Linux administration, networking, cloud security, and production support operations. Key Responsibilities Manage, monitor, and support AWS cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability and optimal performance. Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, application connectivity, and cloud-related issues. Handle production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. Configure and maintain AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, and Route 53. Monitor infrastructure health, system logs, and performance metrics using Amazon CloudWatch. Manage security groups, access permissions, backup processes, and cloud security configurations. Perform routine maintenance, system upgrades, and infrastructure health checks. Collaborate with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to resolve technical issues. Maintain technical documentation, incident reports, and operational procedures. Required Technical Skills AWS Cloud Services: EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, Route 53 and CloudWatch. Networking & Security: VPC configuration, subnets, security groups, routing, DNS, IAM policies, and network troubleshooting. Operating Systems: Linux administration, system monitoring, log analysis, and troubleshooting. Cloud Operations: AWS infrastructure monitoring, incident management, backup and recovery, security management, and production support. Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose and resolve cloud infrastructure, connectivity, and performance-related issues. Good to Have Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Basic knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. AWS certification, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or SysOps Administrator. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline. Practical experience supporting AWS cloud infrastructure or production environments. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Understanding of cloud security, infrastructure reliability, and operational best practices. Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Ideal Candidate A technically strong AWS Cloud Support Engineer who can independently monitor cloud environments, troubleshoot production issues, manage incidents, and ensure the reliability, security, and performance of AWS infrastructure.
