Development Engineer - PPA Date: 13 May 2026 Location: Gurgaon, HR, IN, 122001 Company: Hero Motocorp A purpose driven role for you: To manage Parts/Process Approval of chassis parts (Frame and Mech. prop including WBS parts) To ensure project targets in terms of Time, Quality and Testing evaluation so that part/process meets drawing specs & relevant standard requirements. A day in the life Approve parts & process including multi-sourcing at supplier end so that it meets required drawing specification & relevant standards Resolution of base model issues, warranty issues, conducting QAVs, Defining new SOPs, New supplier evaluation. Alignment with CFT for smooth execution so that project timelines are met Validate & approve new technology / new design parts Self-Development with competency enhancement for smooth functioning Complexities Collaboration with cross functional teams i.e. Vendor development, Strategic sourcing, Supplier Quality assurance, R&D, Mfg. and SCPs to ensure the closure of issues raised and discrepancies. Inspection and verification of complex parts and imported components. Academic Qualification Graduation/Diploma in Engineering Relevant Experience, but not limited to: Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience in part development in automobile industry Technical Skills/Knowledge Product & Process expertise New Product Development Problem Solving Project planning PPAP, APQP, MSA, SPC, FMEA Behavioural Skills Strong interpersonal skills, Conflict Resolution Effective communication skills, Assertiveness Critical thinking & intellectual capabilities to analyse problems Quality Ambassado
