Role As the Team Manager - Maintenance (Weld Shop) you will be part of the Operations and will report to the Section Head - Maintenance (ICE). The purpose of your role will be to manage breakdown maintenance & preventive maintenance of Weld shop Frame body & Fuel tank line equipped with OTC/Panasonic welding robotic cells & other SPM machines to ensure the continuous and efficient operation by maintaining safety and quality standards. A purpose driven role for you Your key Responsibilities will include, but not limited to: 1. Maintenance of Weld shop equipment like Panasonic & OTC welding robots, Spot welding, Seam welding & SPM machines in Frame body & Fuel tank line 2. Fault diagnosis, corrections, and logic modifications for Mitsubishi & Siemens PLC, HMI, CC-link, & Siemens CNC. 3. Implementing Digitization, Automation, and IoT projects in the Paint & Weld shop 4. Optimizing repair & maintenance, (R & M) costs for the machine shop line through Kaizen and cost-saving projects like part life enhancement and in-house repairing 5. Daily & monthly maintenance MIS preparation & reporting for breakdowns, PM, TBM, CBM, and updating technician’s logbook & machine history cards. 6. Identifying critical spare parts, planning and procurement with inventory analysis to ensure zero downtime at optimum cost. 7. Support to paint shop team for any troubleshooting, repairs & maintenance. A Day in the life Planning & execution of effective maintenance schedules like Preventive, Predictive, TBM, repairs & shutdown maintenance for machineries & equipment to achieve the set target with optimum cost. And attending breakdowns, doing RCA & CAPA for ensuring high equipment availability. Academic Qualification & Experience B.E / B.Tech - Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics Engineering - 6 to 8 Years of Experience or Diploma - Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics Engineering (10 to 12 Years of Experience) with relevant experience in weld shop maintenance, specifically with Panasonic/OTC welding robots, Spot welding, Seam welding, and SPM machine maintenance. Technical Skills/Knowledge 1. Good knowledge in weld shop equipment like Panasonic & OTC welding robots, Spot welding, Seam welding & SPM machines in Frame body & Fuel tank line 2. Mitsubishi & Siemens PLC, HMI, CC-link, & Siemens CNC. Behavioural Skills 1. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 2. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. 3. Strong supervisory and leadership skills 4. Behavioral Based Safety Approach 5. planning and decision making.
