WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH This role reports to the Engineering Manager within the Supply Chain Planning & Technology organization. You will work closely with business users, engineering teams, product managers, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure O9-based Integrated Business Planning solutions—covering Assortment Planning, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Optimization, and Deployment—are designed and implemented to meet operational needs and align with industry best practices. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR We are seeking a high‑potential Lead Engineer / Solution Architect with strong experience across the IBP lifecycle and hands‑on implementation expertise on the O9 platform. The ideal candidate brings deep technical leadership, architecture capability, and the ability to mentor engineering teams. Required Qualifications 7 to 10 years of experience in architecture, design, and development across IBP domains Proven expertise in O9 Integrated Business Planning (mandatory) Strong understanding of planning algorithms, forecasting models, solvers, and data domains Hands-on experience with PL/SQL, data analysis, and scalable cloud-based engineering Strong domain knowledge across: Assortment, Demand, Supply, Inventory, Deployment Engineering fundamentals: Java/Python, databases, Git/SVN Experience with DevOps/CI-CD (Jenkins preferred) Strong Agile/Scrum experience and excellent communication skills Passion for mentoring and developing engineering capability WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON Integrated Business Planning Lifecycle Assortment Planning: Build and enhance assortment planning capabilities and integrate outputs with downstream planning modules. Demand Planning: Design and optimize forecasting models in O9, enabling statistical, ML-based, and causal forecasting Supply Planning: Architect supply planning solutions including constraint-based planning, capacity logic, and ERP integrations. Inventory Planning: Implement inventory optimization including safety stock modeling, segmentation strategies, and MEIO planning. Deployment Planning: Build deployment, allocation, and replenishment logic across multi-node distribution networks. Cross-Functional Engineering Responsibilities: Lead design → build → test → deploy cycles Develop scalable cloud solutions and review code for performance Drive O9–enterprise integrations and data flows Champion DevOps, automation, and CI/CD Support backlog refinement, Agile delivery, and engineer mentoring NIKE, Inc. is a growth company that looks for team members to grow with it.
