Job Purpose The Organization Strategic Planning (Technology Strategy) role supports the company’s mid‑ to long‑term technology vision by defining and managing software technology roadmaps, coordinating cross‑functional planning activities, and ensuring strong execution governance. The role acts as a strategic link between engineering teams, business stakeholders, and headquarters (HQ) to ensure alignment, high‑quality documentation, and effective tracking of strategic initiatives. This position directly contributes to improving technology competitiveness and enhancing overall strategic planning effectiveness. Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic Technology Roadmap Development Develop, maintain, and govern mid‑ to long‑term software technology roadmaps. Collaborate with HQ and internal engineering leaders to identify new technology initiatives. Analyze emerging technology trends and assess their relevance to business and technical goals. Ensure roadmap alignment with business priorities, governance standards, and version control processes. 2. Cross‑Functional Technology Planning Coordinate technology planning activities across multiple engineering and product teams. Facilitate strategy alignment discussions and capture inter‑team dependencies. Support prioritization decisions based on feasibility, business impact, and timelines. Consolidate inputs from multiple teams into unified planning and strategy documents. 3. Strategic Execution and Governance Track action items, milestones, risks, and decisions from strategy and planning forums. Follow up with responsible stakeholders to ensure timely execution of strategic initiatives. Maintain governance frameworks covering approvals, escalations, and decision records. Support periodic strategy reviews, checkpoints, and progress assessments. 4. Internal and External Collaboration Act as the primary communication bridge between local engineering teams and HQ strategy groups. Represent the organization in internal and external stakeholder discussions, as required. Collect and consolidate feedback while ensuring alignment of expectations and deliverables. Enable effective knowledge sharing and coordination across global teams. 5. Documentation and Communication Management Prepare clear and accurate strategy documents, meeting minutes, and action reports. Create executive‑level summaries, strategic briefs, and presentations for leadership. Ensure documentation quality, consistency, and structured formatting. Maintain centralized repositories for all strategy and planning‑related materials. 6. Technology Competitiveness Enhancement Conduct competitive benchmarking of software technologies, tools, and development practices. Perform market and technology analysis to identify opportunities, risks, and gaps. Provide data‑backed insights to support strategic technology decisions. Track emerging trends and recommend areas for strategic investment or focus. Skills and Knowledge Required Technical and Strategic Skills Technology strategy and software roadmap planning Market and competitive technology analysis Execution governance and strategic tracking Strong documentation and strategic communication skills Stakeholder management across technical and business teams Good understanding of software development concepts, tools, and industry trends Soft Skills Strong collaboration and coordination skills in cross‑functional environments High attention to detail and quality of deliverables Structured and analytical problem‑solving ability Capability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines Clear, concise verbal and written communication Adaptability in fast‑changing technical environments Education B.E / B.Tech in Engineering or a related technical discipline Additional exposure to technology strategy, product management, or business analysis is an advantage Behavioral Competencies Strong ownership mindset with accountability for outcomes Reliable and consistent delivery of high‑quality work Logical thinking with the ability to simplify complex topics Continuous learning attitude, particularly in emerging technologies Ability to work under pressure with clarity, focus, and composure
