Job Description

Collaborate on the definition and updates of the QA and testing strategy for Nespresso web applications, by close relationship with the QA office and QA Community of Practice, focusing on test automation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement test automation strategies that align with the shift-left approach. Guide testers and developers in designing and implementing automated regression, API, integration, and end‑to‑end test suites, ensuring appropriate coverage across the testing pyramid. Perform code reviews on automated tests and enforce automation standards and best practices. Collaboration with DevOps to improve CD/CI pipelines. Monitor and report on automation testing progress and results, ensuring timely communication of issues and risks. Continuously improve testing processes and frameworks to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Stay updated with the latest trends in test automation and contribute to the evolution of our testing practices. What We’re Looking For: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as an Automation Test Lead or similar role, specifically in web application testing. Strong knowledge of web application testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks. Experience with Gherkin, Xray, API testing automation, CI/CD, and mocking/contract testing concepts Proficiency in using automation testing tools/frameworks, such as Playwright. Experience in guiding teams in best practices for automation and testing. Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for web applications. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with keen attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
