Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Cloud Security Manager in Bangalore, India to lead our cloud security team and drive strategic security initiatives across our cloud infrastructure environments. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with strong leadership capabilities to manage a team of cloud security engineers while personally contributing to the design, implementation, and management of comprehensive security controls. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cloud security frameworks, infrastructure as code, security automation, and proven experience leading high-performing technical teams. Job Description: Essential Responsibilities: Leverage specialized security expertise to identify and resolve complex security issues, recommending best practices and determining new approaches that have an impact on broader security operations, while aligning security strategies with business priorities Partner across teams and key stakeholders to drive security initiatives, leading and solutioning complex projects and programs to strengthen overall security posture. Apply advanced analytical skills and sound judgment to solve security challenges, considering diverse perspectives and innovative solutions. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, understanding their security implications to the company’s context. Directly contribute to improvements within the security domain and occasionally beyond, ensuring decisions lead to meaningful enhancements in security practices. Leverage relationships across teams, both within and outside of security, to influence initiatives and integrate feedback into security processes. Develop and articulate clear plans and priorities for the team, guiding them to achieve security objectives while fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment. Lead by example, providing mentorship and support to ensure the team successfully executes on initiatives and goals. Minimum Qualifications: 5+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience. Additional Responsibilities & Preferred Qualifications: Key Responsibilities Team Leadership and Management • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of cloud security engineers and specialists • Conduct performance reviews, career development planning, and skills assessment • Recruit, hire, and onboard new team members to support growing security needs • Foster a collaborative, innovative team culture focused on continuous improvement • Manage team workload distribution and project prioritization Strategic Planning and Execution • Develop and execute cloud security strategy aligned with business objectives • Create roadmaps for cloud security tool implementation and infrastructure evolution • Collaborate with senior leadership on security budget planning and resource allocation • Drive cross-functional initiatives with DevOps, Infrastructure, and Compliance teams Cloud Infrastructure Security (Hands-on Leadership) • Design and build robust cloud infrastructure security controls across multi-cloud environments • Lead the development and maintenance of security architectures that align with enterprise security standards • Implement defense-in-depth strategies for cloud workloads and data protection • Provide technical guidance and oversight for complex security implementations Security Tool Implementation and Management • Deploy, configure, and manage enterprise cloud security tools and platforms • Evaluate and integrate new security technologies to enhance our cloud security posture • Maintain and optimize existing security tool stack for maximum effectiveness • Lead vendor relationships and technology evaluation processes Cloud Information Security Systems Management • Oversee the operation and maintenance of cloud-based information security systems • Ensure high availability and performance of security monitoring and detection systems • Coordinate with IT operations teams for seamless security system integration • Establish SLAs and performance metrics for security systems Cloud Controls Ownership • Take ownership of cloud security controls implementation and maintenance • Develop and maintain security control documentation and procedures • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements • Lead audit preparation and remediation efforts Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Leadership • Manage and maintain code repositories for infrastructure security automation • Design and implement secure code pipelines for infrastructure deployment • Drive standardization of security practices across development and operations teams • Establish security guardrails and policy-as-code implementations • Lead DevSecOps transformation initiatives Environment Rationalization • Assess and rationalize existing cloud environments for security optimization • Identify security gaps and develop remediation strategies • Lead cloud environment consolidation and standardization efforts • Manage large-scale infrastructure transformation projects Automation and Auto-Remediation • Design and implement security automation workflows and playbooks • Develop auto-remediation capabilities for common security issues • Create self-healing security controls that respond to threats automatically • Champion automation-first approaches across the organization Stakeholder Management • Present security metrics and status reports to executive leadership • Collaborate with business units to understand security requirements • Manage relationships with external vendors and security partners • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
